- Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a competence center in Lisbon (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) to manage activities for several locations (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Monaco)
Your Main Activities Are
- The main mission of the Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) desk is to manage the portfolio of clients whom delegate to the bank the management of their assets. It provides high-end DPM services to wealthy, sophisticated and demanding private clients. The team services clients from different BNP Paribas WM entities (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Germany)
- The main mission of the DPM Support Analyst is to assist the DPM Portfolio Managers from Luxembourg Hub, namely
- Operationally manage benchmark portfolios by implementing investment decisions, controlling continuous compliance with the defined strategies asset allocation and managing the cash
- Supporting the management of the portfolios under DPM “Crystal” mandate according to the investment policies and procedures
- Supporting the settlement process of the “Portfolios Management Solutions” (PMS) funds
- Prepare the investment proposals and client reports aimed at end clients and potential investors
- Take part to the ad-hoc project related to the activity processes improvement
- Support the implementation of Portfolio Managers´ investment decisions in the Front Office systems, making sure they are executed according to the procedures in place
- Control and ensure that the benchmark portfolios are aligned with the asset allocation defined for the investment strategies
- Transpose PMS orders in BPSS system and liaise with Portfolios Managers and BPSS custody team to ensure the smooth settlement of PMS funds
- Prepare reports to clients on the performance of their portfolios
- Prepare investment proposals to be presented to investors
- Prepare reports aimed at monitoring the risk and performance of the DPM activity
- Contribute to keep the databases that monitor DPM activities up-to-date
- Contribute to enhance operational efficiency and to continuously improve DPM activities
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
- At least 2 years of Experience in a similar position (financial control, product control, risk, among others).
- Knowledge of financial instruments and markets
- Knowledge in Microsoft office tools, in particular Excel and Access, Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and listening in English
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong analysis capacity, rigor and accuracy, dynamism, autonomy, organization and responsibility
- Highly oriented to results
- Capacity to synthetize / simplify
- Ability to adapt to a fast pace and multi-cultural environment
