VIE – Chief Operating Office Support – Düsseldorf (M/F)
What will your day look like?
As a VIE, you will provide direct support to the Head of the Regulatory & Operating Office as well as to other team members, while also occasionally assisting the Chief Operating Officer. Your role will be transversal, structuring, and highly visible within the private bank in Germany.
You will contribute to steering the department’s operational activities, notably by updating dashboards, monitoring action plans, and coordinating requests coming from headquarters and the various business teams. You will also help update presentations, maintain SharePoint pages, and follow up on documentation.
You may be involved in managing the regulatory framework: coordinating reporting processes, consolidating information from stakeholders, and participating in governance and compliance‑related work.
Once fully onboarded, you will have the opportunity to lead targeted projects, such as organizing internal events, improving processes, contributing to procedure updates, or implementing operational action plans.
You will join a human‑sized team currently composed of the manager, three team members, and one trainee. This smaller setup will allow you to gain autonomy quickly, access varied responsibilities, and benefit from personalized guidance.
Based in Düsseldorf — where all team members are located — you will work in a flexible and collaborative environment, with a well‑established mix of remote work and on‑site presence.
This assignment will give you a comprehensive overview of Wealth Management activities in Germany and Europe, as well as an in‑depth understanding of the Group’s governance mechanisms. You will also develop a solid network through daily interactions with numerous business lines and support functions.
What comes next?
This VIE is an excellent opportunity to grow into roles in project management, operational coordination, organization, or transversal functions within the bank. The experience you will gain—at the intersection of operations, regulation, and business efficiency—is highly valued in international environments and in governance‑steering structures. You will develop a global and strategic vision of Wealth Management activities, as well as coordination, reporting, analytical, and project‑management skills that apply to many career paths.
Why join us?
The VIE compensation package is defined by ministerial decree and paid monthly. It consists of two components:
- A common allowance, identical for all VIE participants
- A geographical allowance, which varies depending on the destination country (and sometimes city) and is recalculated quarterly
