Direct Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing the Korea DCM platform. The client mix would consist of banks, corporates, insurance companies, government and agencies
- Lead the origination and execution of debt capital market transactions, including investment grade, high-yield, bank/insurance capital and hybrid instruments
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with corporate, financial institution, and sovereign issuers, serving as a trusted advisor on capital structure and funding strategies
- Responsible for execution of all active Korea DCM transactions
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored financing solutions to clients
- Define targeted client base
- Manage end-to-end execution of live deals, coordinating across internal teams and external advisors
- Compliance with individual mandates and Code of Conduct
- Supervise, coach, and develop junior bankers, fostering talent growth and ensuring quality output across the team
- Contribute to internal strategic initiatives including revenue planning, risk management, and platform development
- Sign off on ORUS
- Acts & behaves appropriately and complies fully with the general ethical standards expected by BNP and the regulatory authorities
- Complies with all applicable legal, regulatory, code of conduct and firms internal compliance requirements.
- Has completed all mandatory compliance training assigned and maintains, through is his observed actions, an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding in order to be fully competent to undertake the role
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contributes to franchise development by enhanced cooperation between Primary and other GBL's.
- Ensures regular cross-selling of other lines of business.
- Contributes to develop innovation (bring ideas re. new products, new processes…)
