Position Purpose
As a procurement manager negotiate vendor contracts and manage renewals, obtain new proposals to meet business requirement, maintain the procurement tracker and follow up with respective stakeholders for completion, provide MIS reports to senior management on the procurement initiatives undertaken.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- To coordinate the procurement of external services and goods in the corporate services category (including Real estate) and to develop and manage local supplier relationships with the aim of constantly improving service quality vs. cost levels at acceptable level of risk.
- To ensure the BNPP Group procedures are adhered while negotiating and awarding procurement contracts.
- To support the implementation of Global/ Regional;/Pan India contracts/Services / agreements within the territory
- To provide India local Business and Function managers with summaries of the important points in agreements for them to mitigate the risk of non-compliance
- To build partnership with local Business and Function managers to ensure Procurement’s appropriate involvement in negotiations with suppliers and contract execution in general
- To mitigate legal & statutory risk associated with related procurement contracts in conjunction with Legal ,Compliance, DPO & IT Security Departments.
- To regularly report in an agreed format analytical data on expenses by purchase category, the status of projects in progress, projects that are planned with associated quality improvement/savings and quality improvement/savings that have already been achieved within the territory
- Conduct Procurement Steering committee meetings on a quarterly /need basis

Specific Qualifications (if required)

A risk aware individual who preferably has experience in vendor governance/risk management
