Subject Matter Expert (M/F)

CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

You are motivated to join an international team based in Luxembourg and you hold a degree in law, finance or economics.
You have between 5 and 10 years’ experience in compliance/AML KYC in the Private

Equity, Real Estate, Debt, Infrastructure industry, with specific knowledge of local AML/KYC requirements in Luxembourg
You have good communication skills for an international context
You are fluent in French and English. (German, Italian or any other language will be considered an advantage)
You are to combine operational expertise with a transversal and advisory role within the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of KYC practices and processes. 

WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

This role combines operational expertise with a Subject Matter Expert positioning, supporting both the team and management on complex KYC topics and transversal initiatives.

While the position maintains a connection with operational activities, the role is not purely production driven and focusses strongly on expertise, quality and process improvement.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for complex KYC cases, providing guidance and support to the team
  • Supporting analysts in the resolution of complex or sensitive client situations
  • Performing quality reviews (4 eyes / 6 eyes) where necessary to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies
  • Ensuring the quality and completeness of KYC files in line with internal AML procedures
  • Acting as a reference point for the team on AML/KYC topics and regulatory interpretation
  • Supporting management on transversal topics, including audits, internal controls and regulatory inspections
  • Contributing to quality assurance initiatives and process improvements
  • Participating in training sessions and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Supporting projects related to KYC tools, processes and operational efficiency
  • Helping identify process improvements and pragmatic solutions to enhance the KYC framework
  • Acting as a key point of contact for complex KYC questions or escalations

Professional experience and/or degree

·       Master’s degree in project management, finance, or equivalent

·       Familiarity with digital tools and Lean methodologies is a strong asset

Language skills

  • Fluent in French
  • Professional proficiency in English required
