About this opportunity
The FX & EM Institutional Sales- Nordics & Netherlands - Graduate program analyst role is based in Copenhagen and offers two years’ experience across a range of asset classes covering institutional clients such as pension funds, asset managers, and hedge funds. This will give you an immense opportunity to learn about a variety of products, clients and markets over the course of the program.
The program starts in August with a three-week EMEA Graduate Induction event in London. For the right candidate, this Induction event can alternatively be rescheduled for a later date.
Main scope of the role
In this role, you will concentrate on developing deep product expertise in FX and EM Rates while building a comprehensive understanding of the Nordic and Dutch markets. You will be responsible for the seamless execution of client requests, acting as a vital link between external clients and internal trading desks. Working closely with Strategy and Trading teams, you will support client outreach through the distribution of tailored market insights and the development of trade ideas, while actively building long-term relationships with your institutional client base. While managing essential operational and administrative workflows, you will focus on building a robust professional network across internal risk, structuring, and back-office teams to ensure efficient trade lifecycles.
What you will do
- Facilitate the execution of FX and EM Rates products by acting as the primary point of contact between clients and traders.
- Collaborate daily with Strategy and Trading desks to deliver expert insights during client calls.
- Stay abreast of market trends and the house view on currencies, volatility, rates, and bonds to provide timely advice.
- Deliver personalized trade ideas and market updates to a diverse client base across the Nordics and the Netherlands.
- Optimize internal liquidity by matching trader interests with client demand.
- Foster strong internal partnerships across Trading, Risk, Structuring, and Operations to ensure efficient trade flow.
- Represent the firm at client events and meetings across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, and the London trading floor.
- Research and develop independent trade ideas for client outreach.
- Support operational excellence by managing client onboarding, scheduling, and settlement tasks.
Relevant experience and requirements
- Prior experience or a strong interest in FX, Rates, derivatives, and macro economics in general
- An university degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
- Fluency in English and in either a Nordic language or Dutch
- Strong interest to built long-term client relationships
- Proven ability to handle precise tasks in a fast-paced setting accurately while managing shifting priorities
- Ability to synthesize financial news and house views into actionable insights for clients
