Fund Accounting Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in a fund industry
- At least 4 years experience in people management, with focus on managing multiple teams
- University degree in Finance, Economics or similar
- Proven experience in planning, initiating and following through changes to meet objectives
- Ability to identify, recommend and implement improvements to existing processes
- Proven organizational and critical thinking skills, with focus on problem solving and decision making abilities
- Strong communication skills, with English at least on C1 level
- Accountability and client focused mindset with capability to work effectively in dynamic environment and to demonstrate initiative
Responsibilities:
We are looking for Candidate who will provide leadership to assigned Teams within Department by taking ownership of below responsibilities:
- Managing Fund Accounting NAV Team Leaders and their teams servicing multiple locations for a variety of fund structures
- Collaborating with Senior Management and Risk to manage controls efficiently to alleviate any potential risk areas, including management of Audits
- Ensuring the assigned fund accounting teams operate within a clearly defined, documented and tested control environment
- Leading the onboarding of existing client funds and the launch of new funds
- Day to day oversight, management and maintaining a high standard of client service
- Creating, developing, and maintaining business relationships, identifying and implementing service, system, and process enhancements
- Coordinating the delivery of all KPI’s, MI’s in a timely and accurate manner for relevant governance structures
- Being a point of escalation for internal/external queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards
- Fostering an environment where teams are developed, trained and mentored, including making use of the Training resources provided
