About the job

  • The Execution Officer plays a central role in the organization by managing and coordinating transversally across the different Capital Markets business lines, among other things, the initiation and follow-up of Know Your Customer requests in coordination with Relationship Managers, data analysis and integrity, reporting, settlement process, ESG Assessments and deal closing process. Ultimately, they make sure that regulatory requirements are met and that client onboarding as well as deal execution is done on time, and that critical data for strategic initiatives and portfolio monitoring is accurate and easily accessible, allowing to make the right credit decisions and bring added value to the business

Your Main Activities Are

  • Know your customer: Initiation and follow-up of KYC requests and client on-boarding and recertification for primary and secondary trades targeting full completion ahead of the anticipated transaction date; coordinate the gathering of all documents and materials required by KY teams, developing an understanding of the materials required by different KYC jurisdictions and snticipate bottle necks so they can be escalated / addressed in a timely manner
  • Transaction booking, closing and monitoring: Liaise with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Legal, Middle Office, Agency) and prepare internal tools to ensure compliance with procedures for the booking of transactions, perform Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) analysis required for credit decision and annual reporting
  • Deal communication & Reporting: Preparation and submission of deals to league table providers and assist with preparation of other internal reports for Debt Markets and other internal stakeholders
  • Support other ad hoc projects

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s degree in Law or other fields with special interest in regulatory topics
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent written & oral skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office toolsTeam spirit and ability to collaborate with others and develop good working relationships with different departments such as CPM, RMs, Middle Office, Finance, Risk, Legal

  • Debt Markets EMEA has representatives in several countries including the UK, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal, and is structured around teams for Investment Grade Finance, Leveraged Finance and Transversal Teams, such as Ratings Advisory and Credit and Portfolio Management (CPM)
