About Business / Function:
The CIB CCCO Central Operational Permanent Control (hereafter “OPC”) team based in ISPL (India) is part of CIB CCCO (Chief Conduct and Control Officer). This new team is being set up and will be progressively in charge of managing the execution of controls mutualized across all CIB business lines and for whom CIB CCCO Central team (based in France) will act as Central OPC. The team will be composed by the end of 2025 of 14 members based in Mumbai, and reporting to BNP Paribas CIB CCCO Central team Management in France. The role of CIB CCCO Central Team is to establish and maintain a strong Conduct and Permanent Control framework on all non-financial risks (operational, conduct and regulatory) throughout 1LoD (1st Line of Defense) across CIB in strong partnership with the Metiers, functions and regions and with CIB LoD 2/3.
Within the BNP Paribas India Solutions Pvt Ltd (“ISPL”) Organization, the OPC (Operational Permanent Control) correspondents for the IT/Operations/Functions/Financial Shared Services perimeters is under the management of the Head of Conduct & Controls and works in close relationship with the relevant Operational Entity (OE) teams.

Position Purpose
The CIB CCCO OPC Central Team supports the Metiers/Functions on Controls to maintain a robust setup of controls that will allow the identification, assessment, reporting, monitoring and mitigation of operational risks.
As the Manager of the Team, the CCCO ISPL OPC Central Team Manager is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and the development, Training of team members, the definition of objectives and the monitoring of the overall performance of the team.
In addition to the managerial functions, within its scope of activity, the CCCO ISPL OPC Central Team Manager is responsible for providing appropriate support and guidelines to OPCs, monitoring and supervising their activities.
This role is an opportunity to interact with various departments and countries across CIB (Global Banking, Global Markets, Securities Services) and the control results are reported to CIB Senior Management.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Develop and implement offshoring strategies and processes,
· Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations,
· Participate to the recruitment phase,
· Perform appraisal, set objectives, monitor the performance and facilitate the development of team members,
· Monitor the staffing of resources and adjust size and expertise where necessary,
· Allocate the work within the team and ensure back-ups are appointed and trained on each control type,
· Support the team, reply to escalation, reallocate tasks based on priorities,
· Monitor and assess the team’s performance and ensure continuous improvement through effective solutions,
· Ensure the proper execution according to the control plans in a timely manner (ensure the quality of the outcome coming from the team, monitors the control results),
· Provides appropriate support to OPCs in their activities (control execution, identification and assessment of risk areas, definition and monitoring of action plans, etc.),
· Report controls results and related risks to the CIB CCCO Central team Management,
· Review periodically existing control framework and propose enhancements, including mechanisms for feedback loops,
· Ensure proper communications and escalation of key risk areas on a timely basis to the CIB CCCO Central Team,
· Manage onboarding of new activities in relation with the Project Manager in the CCCO Central Team.
Contributing Responsibilities
For the time being, responsibilities of CCCO Central ISPL OPC Team will focus on control execution but may evolve with time to include additional OPC responsibilities (e.g. incidents management, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, follow-up of recommendations issued by LOD 2/3).
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Must have:
· Proven track -record of leading and managing teams,
· Demonstrable knowledge of risk management in Financial Services,
· Proven experience of control execution and reporting.
Additional relevant competencies:
· Understanding of offshoring processes and strategies,
· Experience in Operational Risk Management through previous roles/experience in 1/2/3 LOD (Lines of Defense) or experience in internal/external audit,
· Ability to work with cross functional and cross jurisdictional stakeholders.
· Work on presentations towards management and stakeholder meetings
