About the job

  • The Business Manager intern supports the RISK MFI Portugal Country Head and the various managers of RISK MFI Portugal in coordinating among others the team trainings, the team’s communication, the presentations about the team, the team events and in facilitating the day-to-day of the team
  • RISK MFI provides the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Corporate & Institutional Banking (“CIB”) with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB GM and of credit risks on Financial Institutions to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring

Your Main Activities Are

  • Coordinating the communication related to the RISK MFI Fundamentals training programme and other trainings
  • Preparing supporting documentation related to the team activities
  • Reporting about the performance metrics of RISK MFI Portugal on a quarterly basis
  • Maintaining the accuracy of the data used in those metrics intra-quarter
  • Coordinating the preparation of large team events involving RISK MFI Management
  • On-boarding operational procedures of the team into the appropriate library
  • Supporting the on-boarding of new team joiners and maintaining the internal website used by the team
  • Reporting about the actual budgets of the team and supporting the preparation of forecasting budgets
  • Performing specific ad-hoc research related to managerial priorities

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Business Analytics / Finance or related
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge in MS Office Pack (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Active in suggesting ideas and improvements and demonstrating curiosity
  • Ability to ensure the precision, accuracy and thoroughness of the information manipulated or delivered
  • Effectively express oral and written messages in a clear, structured, accurate and concise manner, based on facts
  • Motivation to collaborate and share ideas and knowledge with team members
  • Valuing and integrating client's feedback to improve products, services, and processes
  • Ability to articulate a point of view and to persuade others in familiar settings.
  • Ability to anticipate and takes initiative to answer a particular situation, to learn from experiences and to deploy curiosity about topics outside their immediate scope
