About this opportunity 


We are looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our ITO Platforms Infrastructure Projects & Support team!

The Nordic ITO Platforms Infrastructure Projects & Support Team’s primary focus is to support the design, delivery and ongoing operation of the clearing and settlement platforms that enable payments in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, working in partnership with the head office IT teams, internal business owners, external clearing houses, and a range of external IT suppliers. 

We are looking for a self-driven team member who will become the go-to expert on the Danish payment infrastructure landscape while also supporting common Nordic initiatives. 

You will be located in Copenhagen and you will report to the Head of Nordic ITO Platforms Infrastructure Projects & Support.

Main scope of the role 

  • To locally drive and deliver, centrally or locally lead projects aiming at maintaining or enhancing Nordic ITO Platforms such as (but not limited to) projects on GB IT applications and processes.
  • For the projects in scope, act as Business Analyst and/or process expert and coordinate all the contributors involved or impacted. 
  • Manage Regulatory Reporting production needs
  • Functional ownership of local applications and domestic clearing services
  • Manage Domestic Payments vendors’ contracts


The role blends business analysis, lightweight project leadership and operational support – always with an eye on risk, compliance and cost effectiveness.

What you will do

Key responsibilities

  • Requirement gathering: Work with the clearing houses, providers, internal product owners, authorities, etc to capture functional and regulatory requirements, in tandem (when relevant) with the local clearing SPOC (Single Point Of Contact)
  • Documentation: support in the creation of clear Business Requirements, Functional Specifications that serve as the foundation for all downstream activities
  • Impact & gap analysis: Evaluate how changes in the payment infrastructure will affect existing BNPP systems and recommend mitigations
  • Knowledge hub: Maintain an up to date “Danish Payments Playbook” and perform briefings for the CM community and IT teams
  • Backup SPOC: Step in as the single point of contact for Danish clearing house relationships, handling queries, escalations when the primary SPOC is unavailable
  • Solution validation: Participate in design reviews, UAT, and post‑implementation audits to confirm that delivered solutions meet the documented requirements

Team wide support

  • Project coordination and business analyst assignments
  • Third‑Party & Supplier Management; liaising with IT vendors and clearing houses, tracking incidents and performance
  • Access‑Rights & Incident Management for the specific Nordic local applications; process access requests and participate to incident response teams

Backup of Danish local clearing SPOC

  • Liaising with the relevant clearing bodies to enable upstream and downstream communication
  • Coordinate the responses
  • Provide consistent communication
  • Maintain records

Relevant experience and requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Experience in payments operations or payments related, business analysis with focus on Danish clearing/settlement. Experience with other Nordic payment schemes and supplier follow-up is an advantage
  • Deep understanding of Danish payments ecosystem 
  • Expertise in requirement elicitation, comprehensive impact analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Project management basics: ability to define scope, track milestones, manage risks, produce status reports
  • Basic understanding of technologies and ISO payment message flows. Knowledge of SQL/DB querying for validation is an advantage
  • Concise written and oral communication tailored to technical & business audiences
  • Fluency in English (both written & spoken) is mandatory, Danish-speaking and writing is an important advantage
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset for structured problem solving, data driven decision making, attention to detail 
  • Proactive self-learner with strong collaborative skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
