Main responsibilities:

Act as in-house counsel of BNPP Brazil, assisting the Global Markets and 2S teams of BNPP. Activities to be performed include: 

• Review of documents pertaining the incorporation, by-laws and activities of investment funds; 
• Assist in the analysis and review of regulatory matters involving investment funds; 
• Review and negotiate cross-border loan transactions; derivative transactions and respective guarantees and collateral; 
• Be involved in the structuring and review of transaction documents pertaining issuance of debt instruments (debentures and commercial papers) in the Brazilian capital markets.

Position Requirements:

• Enrolled with Brazilian bar (OAB); 
• Law Graduated; 
• Fluent English; 
• Experience with matters involving investment funds, capital markets (experience with derivative transactions desired) and banking transactions. 
• It is expected that the candidate be interested in learning and carrying out activities involving legislation and regulations pertaining the Brazilian capital and banking market (including regulatory provisions).
