COO Office Staff will report directly to the Head of the COO Office and will be in charge of the general OPC, organization and governance tasks of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Permanent Control (OPC)
Define, deploy, and execute OPC controls for CIB Korea (branch)
Conduct Operational Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
Review and follow up historical incidents / recurring weaknesses and independent control function
Coordinate with regional OPCs for regional business/function controls
Oversee ISPL OPC teams on control execution and quality check
Monitor audit & regulatory recommendations (including PCAs) at country level
Issue & follow up with stakeholders on SIAP (Self Identified Action Plan) for remedial actions Coordinate the end to end complaint process and contact related stakeholders until closure
Act as Local TAC/NAC coordinator
Support local stakeholders and facilitate follow up process to ensure no overdue in any topics
Act as Procedure SPOC and ensure proper monitoring of procedure management
Support ad. hoc requests within OPC scope
Outsourcing Management (LOMC Coordinator): Is appointed by territory COO, is a role in each APAC territory or legal entity a Local Outsourcing Management Committee operates, that:
Deploys and implement outsourcing framework as per group, region and local requirement
Maintain an up to date inventory of ongoing and completed outsourcing/insourcing projects
Facilitates all LOMC stakeholders in the insourcing or outsourcing process, ensuring participation of appropriate representatives;
Provides approved standardized documents and updates those in coordination with the APAC Outsourcing team as necessary;
Manage LOMC lifecycle and ensure every outsourcing project is compliant
Contributes to the 360 ORM registering management and data quality control;
Schedules LOMC meetings and Go live Committee;
Supports the Chairman of the LOMC, ensuring compliance with local Outsourcing Policy and governance.
Escalates issues or disputes to ROMC when it cannot be resolved locally.
Support and provide all governance evidences submission when requested by any LoD (OPC, TPRM GCL, RISK-ORM, IG) and/or any bodies
Project Management:
Act as project manager and lead locally driven projects
Ensure proper project lifecycle is followed (business rationale, budget and resource, planning, execution, risk management and completion)
Manage project meetings (workshop, OpCo, SteerCo and etc.) and provide regular status reports
Participate/coordinate transversal projects (Head Office and APAC driven)
Lead lean program to identify efficiency gains across all ITO-Finance departments
Procedure Management
Act as Procedure Correspondent and ensure CIB KR procedures, Not a procedure, Reg Report BRDs are in good status
Manage the entire documentation lifecycle (creation, modification, termination) process
Liaise and support document owners on the relatedProcesses
Maintain up to date inventories of procedures, MO and BRDs
Provide ad hoc. Support
Inventory Management
Ensure proper inventory of CIB KR topics, includes but not limited to Projects, ToRs, SLAs, Procedures, Not a procedure (Modus Operandi, BRDs and etc.), Reg reports and etc.
Good in written English, report writing & presentation, and fluent in spoken English.

Ability to manage several initiatives/projects and keep these on-track simultaneously
Good Inter-personal & communication skills, ability to consolidate action plans and report progress status
Good teamwork spirit, independent & self-motivated.
Good analytical mind-set and logical mindset
