From 22 May to 11 June, Roland-Garros is back. The most famous French tennis tournament is set to return to Porte d’Auteuil in Paris, along with its host of stars. A story which has been going on since 1973 with BNP Paribas, and which continues to be written for the next 5 years, with the signature of the renewal of the partnership.
Who will take Novak Djokovic’s place at the top of the men’s table, and overcome Garbiñe Muguruza as the defending women’s champion?
BNP Paribas, partnering Roland-Garros and all levels of tennis for 44 years
One thing is for certain; Roland-Garros is still a very special event for BNP Paribas, who have partnered the competition since 1973. It was here that their love affair with the little yellow ball started over 40 years ago, with the Group providing financial support for the construction of boxes on the Philippe Chatrier court. Ever since, the commitment shown to tennis all over the world by BNP Paribas has continued to grow, with 20 national federations, 2.000 clubs and 550 tournaments, including - among others - the Monte-Carlo Masters, the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, and the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. The Group also partners prestigious competitions such as the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas and the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.
Serving and rewarding tennis fans
Tennis, however, would be nothing without its fans. And BNP Paribas knows that. The Group wants to put tennis lovers centre stage more than ever this year, with a benefits programme being launched for the fans. Seats, behind-the-scenes tours, chances to meet the players, VIP box tickets for matches and more... all so the fans can feel like the real players behind their favourite game. It couldn’t be easier to get in on the action - all you have to do is create an account on wearetennis.bnpparibas, then sit back and enjoy the full experience! You can also make the most of this opportunity to discover the newest version of our website and get live coverage of Roland-Garros and other tournaments, as well as tennis news throughout the year. For the moment, this programme is reserved for French customers.
BNP Paribas will continue to provide you with the best that tennis has to offer throughout Roland-Garros 2017.
So - see you on the clay at Porte d’Auteuil?
