For the expansion of our Benelux Corporate Finance team we are looking for an Amsterdam-based

Associate Corporate Finance Benelux

The Associate Corporate Finance has the responsibility for origination and execution of Merger & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Market transactions. The Associate is the point of contact for a designated client base for all Corporate Finance matters.

The position
•Establish and maintain the strategic dialogue with key clients in the Benelux
•Originate and execute complex and highly visible M&A and ECM transactions
•Take responsibility for expanding the BNP Paribas franchise
•Support colleagues in improving their capabilities across the board
•Lead projects and have full client confidence
•Operate under the following principles: integrity, responsiveness, accountability, creativity, innovation, and team work

The requirements
•MSc diploma (preferably economics, finance or equivalent) with 5 to 7 years of experience in a comparable position
•High level of dedication, motivation and energy
•Thorough knowledge of process / key steps for different types of transactions
•Strong people and communication skills
•Ability to work independently, but also able to work in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
•Drive to take ownership of your / others’ development
•Eye for detail, whilst continuously aim to optimize ‘return on time’
•Problems solving and analytical skills with knowledge of Corporate Finance techniques
•Ability to act in accordance with applicable law and regulations
•FLUENCY IN DUTCH AND ENGLISH IS AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT (VERBAL AND WRITTEN), French or any other European language is an advantage
