Business Overview:
The Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) program structured at the U.S. level across poles of activities of BNP Paribas provides guidance, supports the analysis, impact assessment and drives adjustments of the U.S. platform’s operating model due to the drastic changes introduced by the Enhanced Prudential Standards (“EPS”) for Foreign Banking Organizations (“FBOs”) finalized by the Federal Reserve in February 2014, implementing Section 165 of U.S. Dodd-Frank Act.
  • Lead business analysis for technology intensive aspects of the ALMT Work Stream undertakings in coordination with relevant Subject Matter Experts and possibly external advisors
    • Articulate and deliver written documentation  in close cooperation with U.S. entities (Bank of the West, First Hawaiian Bank, CIB, Investment Partners, BP2S) and the Head Office
    • Foster alignment across U.S. entities in terms of target processes and convergence of technology infrastructure, in adherence to head office framework where relevant
  • Continuously reconcile expectations of numerous stakeholders in the process (regional vs global, function vs business line, corporate banking vs capital market)
  • Act as liaison with internal clients, head office, other activities of BNP Paribas in the U.S. and other regions on each project as necessary
  • Foster coordination and knowledge management on transversal undertakings across teams involved and across geographies
  • Develop project management plans including business requirements, test plans, risk assessments and communication strategy in coordination with relevant teams
  • Drive project(s) to their completion and manage risks inherent to execution or consequence of the changing context
  • Develop and maintain knowledge current on rulemakings and general industry developments regarding U.S. regulatory reform across assigned sections of the rulemakings with the objective of being a first level of contact for business and support functions
  • Review work for completeness, accuracy and effectiveness of staff assigned to the project to ensure high level of qualify on all project deliverables
  • Direct project resources on available project management tools and techniques
  • Manage a small number of project resources (IT business analysts, developers and testers)
  • Participate to the organization and preparation of Project and Steering Committees
  • Attend project meetings, prepare meeting notes and distribute to identified stakeholders
  • Produce project reports at set frequency and on an ad hoc basis, as the project requires
  • Collect project documentation and insure proper archiving in available project management information systems
  • Follow-up on the changes to project management plan and update project master plan
  • Perform quality assurance, insure the completeness and adequacy of deliverables

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • 10 + years’ experience in business analysis / project management for a company with a global footprint in a multicultural environment with large scale projects (multi-million dollar investments, 50+ staff globally deployed on the undertaking, 1+ year duration)
  • Degree in Business, Accounting or Engineering
  • 5 + years working in either  CIB or IS or Retail divisions of International banks, preferably of BNP Paribas in North America
  • 5 + years’ experience in business or process analysis for LCR, NSFR, liquidity and/or collateral management or funding management related projects
  • 5+ years experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Proven ability to lead and manage virtual teams (across locations, no direct reports)
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically

  • Testing Management for large projects a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Working knowledge of French is a plus
