Business Overview:
The CSIRT, under the supervision of the Head of Cyber Security, is in charge of responding and coordinating response to all Information Security incidents for the firm. This includes the development and maintenance of adequate response plans, training, reporting, and actual operation and coordination during cyber security alerts and incidents, on a regional scope.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the NAR CSIRT team members
  • Manage day-to-day response to security alerts and incidents
  • Develop the team’s response capabilities to all types of cyber security incidents
  • Develop and maintain interconnections with peers in other regions for an efficient and optimized response to security events and incidents.
  • Develop interactions with the firm’s Crisis Management process, with external and internal counterparts related to cyber incidents
  • Produce Key Performance and Risk Indicators.
  • Other activities as they relate to improving the firm’s posture towards cyber security incident response

 

  • Bachelor of Computer Science degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years professional work experience, including a minimum of 2 years in an Information Security role
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills, and organizational and work documentation proficiency
  • Good communicator with demonstrated ability to pass messages in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple assignments, and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate actions from several different teams
  • Experience managing Security Incident
  • Expertise in threat detection techniques
  • Experience in managing a team
  • CISSP or CISM certification
