Role and Responsibilities

Exchange Traded Solutions (ETS) is an entity of the Global Markets division of BNP Paribas, active with retail and private clients in various countries in Europe. It offers all day long a contribution on exchange of 160 000 standardized products on more than 700 single stocks & indices and the most traded Commodities and FX pairs.

The Lisbon platform provides direct support to Paris trading hub, responsible for covering the European markets.

As part of the Team, your job will consist on the main missions:

  • Contributing to various risk and profitability reports to the trading business.

  • Performing and automatizing daily routine tasks: Parameterization of standard issuances, benchmark with competitors’ prices, and post check of corporate action adjustments.

  • Monitoring of the different market making related software (options fitter, pricing and contributing tool…)

  • Provide Support for standard trading related tasks: delta hedging, barrier flagging, option execution, roll of products.


  • At least 2 years of professional experience
  • MSc in Engineering or Finance  from a leading university or business school

  • Strong Numerical and methodological skills

  • Strong interest in Financial Markets with a good understanding of options trading and pricing

  • Be able to work in a stressful environment

  • Reliable and rigorous

  • Data science: Python, R, Pandas, Jupyter

  • DBMS: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Mysql

  • Innovative mind-set & drive

  • Team oriented  with good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent fluency in English
