The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
 
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:

Hedge Fund Accounting is a new initiative being launched by BNP Paribas Securities Services in Warsaw. You can be part of this newly created team who will transfer new process from Dublin to our Warsaw office. This is a unique opportunity to gain new experience, expand your knowledge and skills in multinational environment.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • managing team responsibly to ensure that all team members operate efficiently
  • promoting and maintaining high quality of client experience you will have to take care of understanding the needs of our clients and their requirement
  • cultivating a change culture where we strive to provide the highest quality service - as a leader you will develop best practice
  • delivering of NAV to a portfolio of both single manager and fund of fund clients in accordance with SLA
  • reviewing final trial balance and all underlying portfolio information, accruals and expenses on funds
  • acting as signatory for the approval of payments when required in accordance with approved authorisation levels
  • liaising and working with the Investor Services team to ensure accurate recording of shareholder capital activity within Geneva
  • analysing and reviewing movements in the NAV, whilst understanding effects of P&L, sidepockets and hedging on shares class NAVs and partner balances
  • recommending opportunities to enhance client focused service delivery

We are looking for you, if you:
 
  • have 6-7 years’ experience in alternative fund services industry with a minimum 3 years on managerial position
  • poses proven experience in acting as a senior point of contact for clients
  • present full working knowledge of Single Manager and Fund of Fund NAV preparation and review process
  • can use of Advent Geneva, Advent Partner and New Transfer Agency System advantageous in proficient level
  • have strong product knowledge with knowledge and exposure to equalisation an advantage
  • present excellent interpersonal skills and proven leaderships qualities
  • have attention to detail and organisational skills
