One of the three international operations centers, BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities Operations (GSO) provides services to global clients in the Asian region and some “follow-the-sun” activities for European clients. Our services include custody operations, fund accounting, middle office operations, static data management, IRP and other transversal services.

Job summary

Roles & Responsibilities

¡ Ensuring critical Fire Fighting equipment’s are in working condition at all times

¡ Ensuring critical equipment's like UPS are covered under AMC and their service records are tracked

¡ Ensuring preventive Maintenance calendar is followed by the Facility service provider

¡ Purchase of office items and goods that are Non – IT in nature

¡ Ensuring comparative reports are prepared for goods and services as per approval threshold and release of purchase orders.

¡ Establish standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, according to engineering principles and safety regulations

¡ Procurement of consumables, spares required for O & M operations

¡ Procurement of diesel for gensets.

¡ Maintenance of all MEP items including HVAC, Plumbing, Access control system, CCTV system, Fire alarm system, switch gears, transformers generators etc.

¡ Coordinate with Govt. bodies like TNEB, TNPCB, to maintain the legal compliance documents

¡ Responsible for waste management and its disposal

¡ Monitoring of Sewage Treatment Plants

¡ Painting and carpet  & chair cleaning

¡ Pest control service

¡ Monitor and ensure SLA adherence by outsourced Engineering team (Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing), Landscaping team and Access control Team etc.

¡ R & M Budgets & Forecasting

¡ New build out – Verification of project finishes, quality of build out & snagging,

¡ Scrap disposal etc. for new and existing sites

¡ Preparation of floor plans and BOQ for minor build outs

¡ Voice of the Customer – Coordination of team meetings at least once in a quarter to ascertain employee expectations/ feedback on admin- facility service  lines

¡ To be based in Chennai and prepared to travel as required.

Job requirements

Educational qualifications: B.E, Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Total years of experience:  5 years

Relevant years of experience: Minimum 4 years

Knowledge and skills required

¡ Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.

¡ Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.

¡ Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS-Word & Excel skills required.
