Support Analyst will be responsible for
 
  • Monitor Incident Management system or Production Issues.
  • Work with users to resolve the issues raised by them
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure teams for any Infrastructure related issues
  • Analyze the issues, which could involve analysis on the Database and sometimes debugging the Application code.
  • Work with Development teams whenever required to address the Production issues
  • Work on Weekly  / Daily Reporting as required by the Lead
 

Qualifications:
  • Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) from a reputed university. MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Work experience should be 5 to 7 years and should have worked on Production Support of Application
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Night Shifts (One week in every 5 weeks)

Domain/Technical:

 

  • Knowledge and/or experience of the Financial services / Investment banking industry are a must.
  • Should have worked on Application support project for minimum of 5 years involving  SQL (Oracle/Sybase), UNIX (Preferably Shell scripting)
  • Prior Experience in Supporting Java / J2EE Applications will be ideal
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Incident Management
  • Flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the team. This person will be required to work in Night Shift on rotation basis.
  • The person must be able to Document procedures where ever Applicable
  • Mentor other Team members
  • Must have worked on Collecting Metrics & Reporting status to stakeholders
  • Measure and identify areas for improving Quality and overall Delivery
