Within Client Management Operations of BNP Paribas, the Screening hub team objective is to ensure that new and existing clients and their representatives/authorized agents are compliant with the BNP Paribas Sanction Policy. The team is located in Lisbon and work is coordinated with local oversight to ensure adherence to all relevant local laws and regulations. The main goal of the team is to contribute to protect BNPP against reputational risk, Anti Money laundering risk AML/CFT and Fraud risks. The team must work closely with the Business and Coverage to understand the clients and provide a service that client’s value. It also must work with Compliance to ensure that it provides what the Regulators require.
The team is belonging to a global and regional organization with presence in various countries.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sanction and negative screening Performance of clients and representative agents
Ensure the client and the representatives aren't under sanction and aren’t incorporated or living in a sanction country.
Be Responsible of end-to-end analysis and monitoring of KYC breaches (pre-assessment and screening, coordination with Due diligence teams)
Review new breaches and do stock monetarization of breaches until respective closure
Support on development of procedures and relates processes
Provide guidance, help and support to Due diligence teams on reports’ preparation and key performance indicators.
Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
Microsoft Office’s knowledge
Good analytical skills
Team player and easy to adapt to different working environments
Outstanding communication skills
Knowledge about CIB products and trading entities (plus)
At least 2 years of experience in the banking field or in fraud risk management (plus)
