It provides integrated solutions to all participants in the investment cycle including the buy-side, sell-side, corporates and issuers.
The Residual & Unit Trust Settlement Account Manager will be the daily contact for all clients regarding all aspects of the settlement of Residual & Unit Trust transactions for the UK Market, both via CREST and Inter-office.
The postholder provides direct operational and market processing knowledge to clients and internal teams and ensures that client questions and issues are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner.
Key Responsibilities of the role:

•Acting as the point of contact for Residual & Unit Trust settlement activity on the UK market, to clients and internal teams.
• Providing direct support to clients for operational and processing knowledge,
• Ensuring clients’ questions and issues are responded to in a timely and appropriate fashion,
• Ensure efficient monitoring and reporting of client transactions,
• Liaise with external counterparties to match trades,
• Ensuring the escalation of problems to team leader/line manager,
• Process Stock Withdrawals and Stock Deposits,
• Ensuring up-to-date procedures are maintained and updated where necessary,
• Ensuring stock and cash breaks are solved quickly,
• Ensuring failed trades are kept to the minimum,
• Assisting the reconciliation team in clearing breaks

Skills and Experience required

• Demonstrable operational experience in a high volume brokerage or custodian environment of a major (“blue chip”) institution in a client facing role.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Risk awareness.
• Self-confidence and independence, taking responsibility for the assigned task and client responsibilities.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong understanding of the UK market, particularly focused around Residual Settlements and CREST knowledge.

• Knowledge of SWIFT
