Project Manager - Middle Office

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Change for all Middle Office teams related to
  • New Client on-boarding
  • Process Change
  • Implementation of new systems
  • Interact with Project / Program Managers from other BP2S offices in Europe and Asia to understand Scope, Teams impacted, FTE requirement
  • Agree on implementation timeline
  • Provide regular updates to management team on the status of various projects / change
 Job Requirements:

 Educational qualifications

College Degree, preferably a Master’s degree in Commerce or MBA (Finance)

Total years of experience: 

10 -12 years of experience in a financial services Industry. Sounds Technical knowledge in: Trade Process from Trade input through to Settlements including reconciliations Equities/Fixed Income/Treasury/Derivatives instruments Fareast, Europe and APAC Markets and related Systems. 

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Good working knowledge of investment administration business especially Middle Office related activities on Trade Matching and Settlements
  • Possess high level of project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to influence others, including clients.
  • Apply critical thinking to solve problems
  • Quick learner and proactive approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict targets
  • Flexible approach to work, as implementation can occur outside of normal business hours
  • Strong team player, going the extra mile
  • Strong working knowledge of Lotus notes/excel/PowerPoint/word
  • An understanding of how an Asset Manager operates with Custodians and Brokers
  • An understanding of a variety of Instrument types including Equities, Bonds, FX / MM, Repo, Derivatives
  • Knowledge of Omgeo CTM & Hi-Portfolio would be an added advantage
