BNP Paribas is recruiting for its European Finance Operations Center in Lisbon, part of the Group Finance function. Group Finance is responsible for compiling and processing accounting and financial information in order to ensure its publication and to provide Executive Management with the necessary information for the entire Group’s financial management.

The Operational Permanent Control team (OPC) is responsible for the implementation of operational permanent controls ensuring that GFS is compliant with the internal control principles of the Group, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.


The OPC team is responsible for the following activities:


Management of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment related Processes

  • Identification and assessment of risks and controls (including modelisation)

  • Monitoring procedures reviews

  • Controls and actions plan

  • Findings, recommendations and permanent control actions

  • Reporting of potential incidents

    Dynamic management of the Operational Risk Management

  • Management of historical incidents (including near-misses)

  • Management of external events

    Management support and governance

  • Preparation of related committees

  • Alerting and reporting

  • Awareness, training and advisory




  • Define and follow up the capacity planning of the team

  • Manage and assist the team members on their day-to-day activity

  • Ensure good communication with internal stakeholders

  • Perform the relevant reporting to the Management (KPIs and Dashboards, key messages, improvement axis…)

  • Alert management in case of incidents

  • Coordinate the GFS business continuity activities

  • Contribute to "Role & Responsibility" RaDAR program by applying Quality & Integrity criteria to his/her perimeter/scope of responsibility.




  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business
  • Professional experience between 5 to 10 years of experience in external or internal audit, control, or risk department. Previous experience in Finance or banking is a plus
  • Team management experience
  • Knowledge of risk management basics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Analytical skills
  • Organized and rigorous
  • Communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 Level, CECRL certificate, excellent writing skills), French is a plus
  • Ability to work in partnership with different stakeholders
