Position Purpose
  • Market Data Administration:
    • Management of Market Data costs, inventory, licensing, contracts, …
    • Access Management on Market Data systems
    • Demand Management: To understand and analyze the demands from the business users and propose the optimal subscription
    • Cost optimization
    • Supplier Management
  • Business and Suppliers relationships
    • Build a strong relationship with our internal customers, our internal or external providers and other infrastructure teams and Functions in APAC,
    • Provide guidance to business managers and end-users on Market Data costs, licensing and Terms and Conditions
    • Permanent liaison with the regional Procurement team for Market Data contracts negotiations and management
  • Governance
    • Ensure that the instructions and guidelines of the Group (esp. Procurement/Finance and Global ITI&P Governance) are respected

Responsibilities

 

Specific duties/accountability include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the Market Data inventory is constantly up to date
  • Ensuring the proper licenses are in place, and their cost duly communicated and approved
  • Provisioning the access to Market Data systems (incl leavers management)
  • Ensuring Market Data invoices are accurate and timely paid and allocated
  • Providing guidance to users and management on Market Data usage terms and conditions
  • End user support with access or permissioning issues
  • Usage and Costs monitoring/reporting to management

Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework


Technical & Behavioral Competencies

 

Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of data usage rules and market data compliance
  • Proficiency with Market Data inventory tools
  • Significant experience in Market Data vendors management
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Risk, Security and Cost awareness
  • Ability to work under pressure
