For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
Manager of Data Administration
  • Grow and develop and run a DA centre in Warsaw in support of the Internationalisation strategy
  • Contribute to the establishment of a global operating model
  • Develop a competitive hub location that delivers added value by ensuring a significant lower unit cost compared to the unit cost of “throwing locations” (based on the business case assumption) and by improving the level of this unit costs thanks to efficiency gains
  • Develop and deliver service quality excellence and a culture that supports the creation of a centre of excellence in Warsaw
  • Manage the medium and long term development of the DA operation through a clear target organisation structure and relevant manpower planning
  • Proactively promotes and manages the culture of  DA in line with Warsaw IOC and BP2S culture and values
  • Ensure processes and controls reflect the highest standards expected
  • Source and develop young professionals and talents in Warsaw to add to the inventory talent in DA through the implementation of a suitable HR strategy, leadership and people management skills
  • Work effectively cross-border building strong relations with global DA management as well as “internal clients”
  • Takeover critical activities from other data admin international operation centre's during any crisis situation in order to support 'Business Continuity' for the department
  • Represent operations in departmental projects and contribute towards platform development, new client on-boarding, client change request and other initiatives to improve efficiency and service of DA

  • 5- 10 years of experience in Securities Services or operations environment
  • At least 4 years senior management experience in an Operations environment, ideally Data Administration, enabling the candidate to provide effective leadership in establishing the suitable operating norms, staff development and working culture
  • Exposure to working effectively in a complex and global environment with internal clients and suppliers in various disparate locations
  • Capable of building a good working relationship with senior Ops Managers in BP2S is an invaluable attribute.
  • An ability to deal with colleagues from different cultures is important
  • Polish language skills are helpful in working with staff.
