It provides integrated solutions to all participants in the investment cycle including the buy-side, sell-side, corporates and issuers.
The Income and Tax Department exists to provide the full end to end processing of Income events in the UK and Irish market. 
The Income and Tax Account Manager is responsible for the processing of Income in the UK and Irish market. He/she will collate documentation received from information providers and use this information to advise clients of any income distribution using the in-house custody system. They will collate responses, where necessary, for DRIPs and SCRIPs and, upon receipt of the entitlement, issue the correct outturn to the clients account. The Income and Tax Account Manager will also provide direct support to clients including operational and processing knowledge. He/she ensures that clients’ questions and issues are responded to in a timely and appropriate fashion.
Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Processing of all Income Events for UK and Irish securities and CDI’s.
• Ensuring all UK and Irish Income events are received and announced to clients in a timely manner.
• Assisting Clients in Income and Tax investigations.
• Following up and reconciliation of any Income and Tax differences.
• Acting as main client contact for an extended number of clients.
• Guaranteeing the follow up of all rules given by the applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensuring that transactions/investigations comply with internal/external policies and regulations.
• Ensuring relevant deadlines and other performance standards are met.
• Ensuring the escalation of problems to group head/department management.
• Ensuring up-to-date procedures are maintained.

Skills and Experience required

• Practical knowledge of Income and Tax processes in the UK market
• Knowledge of the Crest system
• Flexible approach to working hours

• Self-confidence and independence, taking responsibility for the assigned task and client responsibilities
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of settlements and what impact trades can have on Income events
• Operational experience in a high volume brokerage or custodian environment of a major (“blue chip”) institution or the demonstrated ability to learn the details of the environment quickly
• Previous Experience of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Investment Operations Certificate (IOC)
