BNP Paribas Securities Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, is a leading global custodian and securities services provider backed by the strength of a universal bank. 
 
The role is part of the Securities Services UK HR team which is a team of approx 13 HR specialists providing support to Securities Services UK (circa 700 employees based in London, Glasgow and Dundee) covering the following areas: Resourcing, Career and Talent management, HR Business Partnering, Employees Relations, Compensation, Administration and Reporting.
The UK HR team is supported by the UK Pensions and Benefits team, the UK Learning & Development team, the UK International Mobility team and the UK Payroll team which act as centres of expertise and shared services centres for the BNP Paribas businesses based in the UK. The UK HR team directly works with other functional departments such as Compliance, Finance, Risk and Oversight and Legal.

The main purpose of the role is to provide support and coordinate all HR initiatives across the different teams and oversee all the services that are provided by the shared service centre for Securities Services.
Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Support and coordinate HR business initiatives in conjunction with the rest of the HR department (ie Talent Management, Succession Plans, etc)
- Implement and monitor action plans, coordinate information with stakeholders, ensure updates as appropriate, follow-up or chase deadlines, etc 
- Be the point of contact for global stakeholders and coordinate any requirements for information

• Monitor the service delivery and compliance governance for the HR department
- In conjunction with the relevant HR team members, oversee the service provided by the SSCs and act as coordinating for the annual SSCs SLAs reviews, incident log, KPIs and action plans for any incidents logged. 
- Monitor the HR Risk Plan and keep it up to date with the changing of the department’s procedures. Escalate any potential changes to the HR Top Risks for the Risk Oversight Committee
- Ensure department access to systems and confidential share-drives are closely monitored and perform quarterly checks to ensure these are not breached or compromised
- Ensure department signature lists are accurate and updated as appropriate
- Ensure all department and SSCs Procedures are updated on a regular basis and loaded into PACT.

• Responsible for the analysis and/or delivery of confidential and/or sensitive data and/or information, requested by the Global governance, internal audit, or the business
- Being the point of contact for IG queries (increase in reviews within BP2S)
- Coordinate all requests for information to and from the IG (and other audit teams)
- Test consistency and accuracy of data before submission
- Keep the team updated on any audit related actions that may impact their areas
- Monitor the Operational Risks and Permanent Control report for HR’s information

• Be responsible for governance matters and represent HR in business committees, when necessary (ie MBRs, RoC, etc)

• Act as liaison with the HR Information Analyst and Administration teams, as well as high level technical SMEs both external (PeopleSoft, Taleo) and internal to the Group (REFOG, SPEAR)

• Process any HR requests for HR staff on the relevant systems and/or provide analytics relating to the department.

Skills and Experience Required
 
Essential:
• Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced busy environment
• Advanced IT skills, especially MS Excel (able to read, debug and ideally write macros, advanced knowledge of functional formulas and Excel functions, able to create comprehensive graphical reports)
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills
• Strong capacity to translate technical HRIA into executive reports for all types of audiences
• Strong expertise in processes, capacity to reengineer processes
• Multi-tasking, excellent priority management and on-time service delivery
• Discretion

Qualifications required for the role:

• Degree educated, or have relevant equivalent professional qualification or experience
