Position Summary:

This is a technology leadership role where you will leverage  effective technology expertise, best practices knowledge and implementation experience for delivery of large size Data Integration projects .

Will be responsible for managing data availability, integration, transformation, and delivery to the EDW. In addition, will develop and implement comprehensive data integration processes, standardize the presentation of information derived from multiple sub ledger transaction systems, and develop data sources necessary to support reporting needs.

Essential Functions

Responsible for building strong partner relationships with the internal and external IT teams.

Proactively engage the delivery teams and solve problems by influencing change and negotiating as appropriate for building scalable and flexible solutions.

Demonstrate  hands-on approach to implement data and information solutions that meet or exceed organizational initiatives and are consistent with enterprise architectural standards •

Analyze data-related systems integration opportunities and challenges

Validate data models from Data Integration perspective for current projects as well as other impacted projects

Lead ,mentor and manage ETL / Data quality developers


 Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems ,Financial systems and accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required

 Master’s/Advanced Degree in Business preferred

Required Experience:

12+ years of Information Technology experience with 8+ years of Data Warehouse and data management project development experience (Data Warehouse, ETL tools, data quality, metadata management)

5+ years of proven experience in managing large, complex transactional and DW/BI projects from inception through implementation

3+ years of experience leading complex data management engagements and team sizes ranging from 5-20 resources

4+ years in banking and financial services is preferred

Required Skills:

Familiarity with Retail and Commercial banking, Mortgage and Dealer lending concepts

Superior relationship management, consultative, presentation, and communications skills

Sound leadership, negotiation, critical thinking, and project/time management skills

Strong implementation experience and deep knowledge in Data Integration , Data Quality and understanding of information reporting objectives .

Ability to architect  Data Management solution and provide business, governance and technical recommendations

Ability to advise on data and application integration best practices and optimize performance of ETL programs and solutions

Experience reviewing  statements of work and/or vendor proposals

Experience with conceptualization, design and assistance in the implementation of new and existing systems, middleware, metadata, data quality, data warehouse and production architectures

Experience transferring knowledge and best practices to vendors and junior developers

Deep knowledge of Oracle database management concepts including PL/SQL development and ability to design and tune complex queries.

Deep expertise in Informatica Data Integration platform across architecture, configuration, best practices.

Deep knowledge of different types of Data Warehouse implementation and approaches

Expertise in implementing operational data stores and real time data integration

Expertise in dimensional data modelling

Experience in as data obfuscation and data masking is preferred

Experience in designing/implementing Data integration solutions for CCAR is highly desirable.
