The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
Deputy Team Leader in the IRP Department (Performance UK Team)
Main tasks:
  • Supporting team and Team Leader in daily operational tasks
  • Effective daily supervision of team's work
  • Being the point of contact for operational queries, dealing with issues and assisting with escalations which have been referred to the Team Leader
  • Active participation in BAU and team cross training
  • Maintaining expert level of technical knowledge appropriate to support team leader and senior management in effective judgment in decision making
  • Supporting planning and monitoring work in the team including setting priorities in line with customers' expectations
  • Ensuring high quality and reporting team effectiveness
  • Supporting Team on increasing effectiveness and quality
  • Participation in service review calls with other departments and spoke locations
  • Support team members, team leader and senior management to ensure that all the MI, KPI, KRI, KMP, BCP, BCM files and reports are updated and distributed on regular basis
  • Supervise and evolve necessary controls and procedures so that operational risk is mitigated
  • Supporting recruitment process and annual appraisals of team members
  • Providing support for newcomers during training and to adapt to the BP2S environment

Skills required:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the IRP
  • Knowledge of Investment, Fund Industry and Securities Market
  • Good understanding of IRP business
  • Client focused - able to build productive and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High productivity and precision
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment and motivation
  • Experience on similar position would be an advantage
