The mission of the Business Continuity Officer is to support the definition and implementation of the governance and the business continuity strategy, at territory level, following the Groups requirements:
  • Contributes to the definition and development of the business continuity and crisis management policies
  • Provides business continuity guidance and assistance for the business units and functions interlocutors in the area (BCP Correspondents)
  • Performs analysis of business risks and identifies the related impacts, concerning potential gaps between business continuity requirements and capabilities of recovery solutions
  • Ensures that business continuity documentation covers identified risks and impacts
    and are kept up dated
  • Work with ICO to ensure that continuity requirements of IT systems and applications identified in the BCP documentation by business units are coherent and realistic
  • Contributes to the monitoring and management of business continuity incidents and non conformities
  • Takes part in cross-functional communication, training and awareness-raising initiatives
  • Supports the team with planning tests and exercises
  • Contributes to the development of any other projects as assigned by management, concerning transversal functions and initiatives across intra group entities 
 
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
  • Knowledge of the business unit’s organisation and objectives
  • Knowledge of business continuity related norms and standards
  • Knowing how to assess a criticality and continuity requirement / resilience level
  • Knowing how to analyse risks and impacts of disruptions to define recovery priorities
