Business Overview:

U.S. Corporate Coverage is responsible for cross-selling an array of the firm's services across strategically targeted client groups in various business sectors.  The Diversified Industries / GI Coverage team is responsible largely for U.S. Heavy industries, Chemicals, Paper & Packaging and Defense. among other sectors. 



  • Keep Senior Bankers (SB) & Marketing VP’s up to date on all developments (financial and otherwise) on portfolio.
  • Contribute to the pitch book process and coordinate inputs from other product teams
  • Maintain databases of client and industry-wide financial information (including internal CRM system Client Link)
  • Create strategic presentation materials, with SB guidance, for both domestic and international review
  • Develop product understanding and expertise with product specialists
  • Provide support to the SB in their regular marketing/calling program, including preparation of marketing material
  • Act as the principal back-up of the SB & Marketing VP vis-à-vis clients, the business lines and other departments of the bank
  • Contributing to the initial credit assessment to determine the opportunities worth pursing, this should entail
    • discussing the proposed facility with the RM and relevant product specialists
    • working in close to co-operation with the RM and credit analyst to contribute to the credit analyst
  • Develop & maintain client/prospect fact sheets (ratings, exposure, opportunities, deals, etc.), pipeline reports, product heat map, and weekly/monthly activity summaries
  • Prepare and facilitate the internal approval of capital allocation via the RAC process
  • Prepare and maintain annual cross-sell revenue budget in coordination w/the SB, Corporate Platform, and various Metiers
  • Work on ad hoc projects and deals as needed

KYC & Operations

  • Manage all client matters related to KYC, due diligence, Compliance, CSR, etc…
  • Coordinate onboardings and re-certifications for corporate clients in the US
  • Cultivate relationships with Due Diligence and Compliance teams domestically and abroad 
  • Act as a liaison for the SBO between Corporate Client Implementation team, Due Diligence, CARD/Recertification, Compliance and CSR to enhance the level of execution for our corporate clients

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in experience in commercial or investment banking
