Global Securities Operations

One of the three international operations centres, BNP Paribas Global Securities Operations (GSO) provides services to global clients in the Asian region and some “follow-the-sun” activities for European clients. Wholly owned by BNP Paribas Securities Services, the GSO centre offers a wide range of services which include custody operations, fund accounting, middle-office operations, static data management, clearing and settlement operations and other transversal services.


Job summary

Roles & Responsibilities


Static data

¡ Should have strong understanding on Static Data Administration and Manage static data: set up of different types of Static creation on Alaris and Calypso. Process the entire static data request diligently without any mistake.

¡ Anticipating requirements from various teams for cross border setup and doing the setup accordingly.

¡ Understand/get trained in each function in the process correctly and perform the daily task without mistake.

¡ Identifying exceptions and out of balance situations, and liaised with internal departments as required, to reach resolution in a timely manner.

¡ Oversight of new and updated client account opening requests, new broker-relationship set-ups, ISIN creation, Collateral & Tax matrix setups and settlement instructions into various internal applications as requested by various departments such as Business Support Team, Relationship Manager or Front Office.

¡ Perform control tasks required for the process such as validation of setups, review of reports, double check an confirm the completion of tasks within the deadline in line with daily checklists

¡ Procedures and checklists must be updated/ prepared with immediate effect to be in-line with delivery standards and SLA.

¡ Represents and be an active participant on in all the meetings and ensure all issues are addressed to various stakeholders.

¡ Anticipate issues that may adversely affect Operations and propose possible solutions.

¡ Constantly improve business knowledge through training and multi-skilling and ensure yourself is cross-trained across various functions in the team.

¡ Identify areas for change and ensure implementation and looks for ways to improve services and processes.

¡ Manage the Risk, incident reports, liaise with ORPC on the pending points and ensure preventive measures are documented and strictly followed.

Job requirements

Educational qualification : Graduation / Post Graduation with specialization in Commerce or Finance

Total years of experience            : 2-5 years

Relevant years of experience     : Minimum of 2-3 years
