Business Overview:
In accordance with the Dodd-Frank Act, BNP Paribas is required to establish an Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) over its US subsidiaries. The IHC will be subject to risk-based capital and leverage standards, regulatory reporting, enhanced governance requirements, liquidity risk management, and other requirements.

The BNP Paribas IHC Program has been established with the following five core work streams:
  • Legal Entity Structure & Tax: legal setup of the IHC
  • Risk Governance, Reporting and Single Counterparty Credit Limits: establish the governance, process and technology platforms for producing the enhanced risk reporting.
  • CCAR: establish the governance, process and technology platforms for producing the annual IHC capital plan, performing and reporting on capital stress tests and complying with monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting
  • Funding & Liquidity Management: establish the governance, process and technology platforms for producing cash flow projections, performing and reporting liquidity stress testing and managing liquidity buffers
  • Financial / Regulatory Reporting: establish the governance, process and technology platforms for producing IHC financial and management reporting, including the implementation of US GAAP basis statutory regulatory and consolidation processes for financial reporting

In addition a number of supporting transversal work streams are instrumental to the delivery of the program: Information Technology, Enterprise Data Management, Human Resources and the Regulatory Analysis work streams.
Department Overview
The Transversal & Business Support Team is part of the overall Enterprise Data Management (“EDM”) program which looks to satisfy the requirements related to principles for effective enterprise data aggregation and reporting, and is intended to support evolving regulatory requirements. Specifically the team provides support to all other units within EDM (Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality) and also handles directly a number of projects.
The role will report to the Head of Transversal & Business Support and will be responsible for supporting the project management office activities for the EDM perimeter of activities. The position requires working in a virtual team and international environment and is multidisciplinary in nature. It involves coordination with other locations and divisions of BNP Paribas as necessary.
  • Ensure reporting obligations to other PMOs or forums are met and that high quality contributions are provided meeting expectations of the stakeholders; challenge integrity, completeness and accuracy of information reported
  • Perform budget monitoring and coordinate with Finance for the proper booking and tracking of expenses for all projects in portfolio
  • Support the annual budget process and quarterly forecast process
  • Maintain the overall project portfolio plan for the EDM function stand up and that all delivery managers maintain and update their project plan
  • Manage the risk reporting and issues escalations processes and documentation as well as facilitate the mitigation plans discussions
  • Keep an action item log for the team
  • Maintain contact list for EDM
  • Perform ad hoc reporting at management request
  • Document the PMO activities and maintain procedures for the team
  • Participate to the organization and preparation of Project and Steering Committees
  • Attend project meetings, prepare meeting notes and distribute to identified stakeholders
  • Collect project documentation and insure proper archiving in available project management information systems and knowledge management tool
  • Responsible for the organization and integrity of the knowledge management tool used by the team managing the project side as well as the business as usual side
  • Develops and maintains knowledge on the BCBS239 guidance as well as the RaDAR program implementation so as to constantly adjust, as relevant, your activities to the approach promoted by the Group


  • Bachelor degree required
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in business analysis or assistant project manager capacity working on technology intensive undertakings or process improvement initiatives
  • Solid knowledge of financial industry and related products focused on investment banking or asset management
  • Ability to:  
    • Think critically and analytically
    • Challenge information reported and extract key messages for executive consumption
    • Prioritize and manage a variable workload
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with a distributed multinational and multicultural teams
  • Effectively conveys the message in both written and verbal business discussions
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
