Business Overview:
CIB Data and Controls department consisting transversal departments, such as Procurement, Data Governance, Transversal Permanent Control, Third Party Risk Management, IT Security and Business Continuity Management to support all the entities within North America region. The newly created Data and Controls Business Management and Project office team coordinates with all these teams to oversee Data & Controls budget, controls, PMO, dashboards, audit recommendations, senior level presentations and other business management affairs; which finally supports directly to the head of CIB Americas Data and Controls.
  • Handle Data & Controls (D&C) Budget activities:
    • Coordinate with Finance and D&C team managers for budget & forecasting activities. Consolidate budget for further review and validation.
    • Monthly track & report team-wise D&C budget (Headcount & Cost) for further analysis
  • Manage D&C projects directly; which falls under the head of D&C. Act as PMO for all other D&C teams.
  • Manage D&C Reporting, Controls & Governance
    • Assist D&C head to review policies and procedures relevant to D&C
    • Manage D&C Dashboards
    • Coordinate for D&C RCSA (Risk & controls) for reporting purposes
    • Maintain, track & report D&C’s Audit & regulatory recommendations.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders and work cross-functionally in assisting D&C Business Manager to develop and execute projects.
    • Organize project meetings, drafting minutes & follow-up on action plans. Assist in maintaining project implementation plan & track progress.
    • Organize D&C governance meetings (local & Paris).
  • Assist to maintain North America Approvals Authority; and coordinate in streamlining project.
  • Reviewing all contracts within D&C team in terms of cost, budget, services, renewals and terms to protect the bank as well as monitoring progress.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, Legal, IT and COO staff Legal on issues and projects within Data and Controls framework.
  • Collaborating with management and various business heads in order to provide inputs on budgeting Data and Control team’s requirements
  • Promoting the D&C function by adding value to the bank
  • Ability to monitor, track and enforce Audit/Regulatory recommendations within Data and Controls.
  • Team Player, to develop and continue to build strong interpersonal relationships both within the team and with internal clients.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or applied sciences (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5 + years’ experience in Business Management, Budget, Project Office, and Planning
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong work ethics and ability to work with confidential information
  • Strong in creating and making presentations for senior management
  • Interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple teams (liaise with various internal and external groups/ individuals)
  • Ability to analyze complex situations in a timely and effective manner
  • Analytical and critical thinking to assist in evaluating Business Management information
  • Experience and expertise in US regulatory requirements, Business management, budget, audits and controls
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, Visio.
