Business Overview:

The role the MBS Client and Trade Support team takes on the client service and administration support functions, which include management reporting, trade processing, resolution of customers’ discrepancies, and ad hoc inquiries and investigations supporting the Front Office.



The MBS Client and Trade Support department’s main responsibilities include reviewing multiple reports that support the operation functions of Fixed Income within ITO GMO


·      Confirm all Mortgage Desk trades with counterparties; TBA’s, CMO’s, ABS, US Treasuries

·      Maintain MBS trade and position integrity between various trading systems

·      Liaise with trading desk, broker/dealers, P&L, Clearance and Static Data Teams

·      Monitor/maintain new counter-party set-up

·      Facilitate the allocation of investment manager sub-accounts for client type trading

·      Assist settlements in researching DK’s on unsettled trades

·      Work closely with allocations to assist in facilitating TBA pool notification process

  • 2 Years in experience in Middle Office or Trade Support Role
  • Knowledge of TBS Allocation Process

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ICI (Impact) System
  • Knowledge of Martini
  • Bloomberg
  • GSCC and BONY Settlements
