Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking - Leveraged Debt Platform
BNP Paribas Leveraged Debt Platform Europe (LFE) gathers 75 professionals specialized in LBO Financing across Europe (Paris, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, Munich and Rome). These teams are responsible for the origination of LBO deals, from mid-cap to large-cap, and their follow up. LFE also manages LBO debts for third parties.
In the Milan office, the intern will work with the Origination & Portfolio Management and may assist other LDP European teams.
The intern will work within a well known team in Italy and Europe on mid-cap to large-cap LBO financing files.
Depending on the operations under way and each intern’s progression, tasks will include:
Take part in the study and elaboration of credit files:
Write market analysis, based on strategic due diligences
Participate in financial analysis, based on public information or due diligences
Work on cash flow modelling and take part in the elaboration of sensitivity analysis
Assist in marketing presentations
Follow up of existing deals and risk monitoring:
Write credit annual review, market analysis, financial analysis
Monitor monthly performance review of credits, calculating dedicated ratios, analysing financial data
Participate to management of risk monitoring tools
What we expect from you
- Education: Master degree in Economics; Master degree in Management Engineering (Specialization in Finance).
- Behavioral skills: Strong analytical and technical skills. Rigorous, autonomous, willing to learn and entrepreneurial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken). Is desirable basic knowledge in portfolio management; good knowledge in finance and accounting. Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Past internship experience in Investment Banking could be a plus.
Contract type and Remuneration
The offer will be a full time 6-months internship and it’s dedicated to all students or recent graduates (twelve or less months after graduation).
The Company provide a monthly monetary contribution.
