The Corporate Debt Platform (CDP) is part of Financing Solutions within Corporate Institutional Banking and is responsible for debt financing solutions for EMEA Corporates spanning the credit spectrum (Investment Grade and Sub-Investment Grade). The group pitches, structures and executes loan and bond financings for large and midcap corporates. The teams work closely with the loan and bond syndicate desks, as well as coverage teams. Analysts and Associates in the Corporate Debt Platform work in the Execution Group which supports all the above financing activities. In Lisbon, the team is part of the Lisbon Execution Taskforce and works closely with our local Analysts.
As an Analyst in the CDP Execution Group the candidate will provide support for clients across all territories EMEA:
  • Strategic and financial analysis on sectors or companies
  • Strategic client’s corporate and debt profile to be prepared prior to a pitch
  • Research and analysis for potential transaction opportunities
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations
  • Formatting of pitches prepared in the main jurisdictions and roadshow presentations (bond) / management presentations & information memorandum (loan)
  • Prepare case studies of transaction completed
  • Maintaining the sector Vertical Comparable once quarterly numbers are released
  • Assisting in the Preparation of the Corporate Debt Weekly which is a market update document
  • Update the bond database capturing all relevant details of recent deals 
  • Compile of league tables and credentials by sector, country, deal type (loan)

  • Strong academic background, preferably a Master’s Degree in Management, Economics or Finance
  • Strong financial modelling skills
