Position Summary
Responsible for developing and selling new investment and banking products through leads generated in a dedicated portfolio of high opportunity existing bank clients as well as referrals from internal partners and existing clients.  The Premier Banker is located in the Bank of the West branch network and partners with Wealth Management Group.
Position Accountabilities
  1. Works with a dedicated portfolio of clients to identify needs and sell investment, deposit and loan growth opportunities
  2. Responsible for managing the full relationship of customer between the banking and brokerage.
  3. Reviews and advises clients on investment needs and utilizes brokerage systems and product sets to meet identified needs
  4. Opens core banking products and services based on client need through thorough needs analysis and review
  5. Work within the multi-channel Wealth Advisory model to refer clients based on need and level of service
  6. Consistently meet minimum sales and service scorecard goals balanced between banking and brokerage responsibilities
  7. Participates in events that demonstrate support for the community and increase business opportunities for the Bank.
  8. Complies with all policies/procedures related to the new account process and investment account opening and suitability standards.
  9. Completes documentation necessary to open/maintain new consumer and business deposit accounts.
  10. Completes all licensing and training including new hire and continuing education requirements per bank and broker-dealer standards.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.




Required Education or Equivalent Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Required license(s) or certification(s) Series 7, 63, 65 (or 66 in lieu of 63 & 65), life and health
