Position Summary
As a key member of the IT Solutions Delivery foreign based technology project, this resource will be US-based and responsible for establishing plans, overseeing, and coordinating projects with offshore components.  This role will provide leadership in data management for regulatory needs, as well as other areas as identified, and will establish the strategy and vision for managing and directing the day to day operations (onshore and offshore) of assigned staff.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated competency in working collaboratively across both business and IT functions in highly complex environments across multiple geographies, identifying and mitigating risks, coordinating with stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization, and successfully leading geographically disbursed teams.
Essential Functions:
• Manages/Coordinates technology deliverables, performance (SLAs), issues and risks
• Manages engagement level costs and budget
• Oversees delivery performance and drive KPIs and metrics
• Ensures clear communication within delivery team and business units across geographies
• Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, DBA and application teams
• Define and manage scope, budget, schedule, priorities and risk throughout the multiple projects
• Coordinate areas of communication within firm having impact on scope, budget, risk and resources
• Other Accountabilities:
  • Knowledge of and compliance with the state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
  • Ensures adherence to Bank and information systems policies and procedures, security measures and audit standards
  • Manages employees directly, through subordinates and occasionally other managers.


Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4 year university or equivalent career experience
Required Experience:
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of working experience in IT, Banking and/or Vendor Management
  • 3+ years of experience leading complex data management engagements and team sizes ranging from 5-20 resources
  • 4+ years in banking and financial services is preferred
  • Experience in data management project development (Data Warehouse, ETL tools, data quality, metadata management)
  • Experience working in or with a Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Experience managing projects in large and complex Business and Technology environments
  • Strong program management and execution skills, coordinating resources and budget, proven skill managing multiple priorities and timelines
  • Familiar and experienced in working in regulated industries (CCAR, IHC, etc.)
Required Skills:
  • Superior relationship management, consultative, presentation, and communications skills
  • Sound leadership, negotiation, critical thinking, and project/time management skills
  • Demonstration of role in managing multiple projects in a high pressure delivery environment
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, along with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and react to changing user/client priorities.
  • Diplomatic skills needed in addressing problem resolution
  • Ability to work well with people from all areas and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to advise Data Management solution and provide business, governance and technical recommendations
  • Ability to advise on data and application integration best practices and optimize performance of ETL programs and solutions
  • Ability to manage teams of varied experience levels and independent individuals
  • Experience reviewing  statements of work and/or vendor proposals
  • Experience in data management project development (Data Warehouse, ETL tools, data quality, metadata management)
  • Experience managing multifunctional projects and workstreams in large and complex Business and Technology environments
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented.
