Job Description

Responsibilities as Analyst of Corporate Finance:

1- Marketing aspects

  • Active role in preparing presentation slides under the supervision of Associate or above on the basis of clear guidelines from Associate or above

  • Stay involved / informed after the pitch

2- Execution aspects

  • Assist Associate / VP in the day-to-day execution of deals

  • Prepare Information Memorandums

  • Prepare data rooms

  • Build basic models / multiples etc.

3- Project management

  • Organize work process with interns

  • Check with rigor and take full responsibility and ownership of all outputs from interns

  • Ensure high quality of standards of own work

4- Team responsibilities

  • Contribute to the recruitment of interns

  • Contribute to recruiting events

  • Contribute to training of interns

5- Responsible for all data gathering and review of information in execution and origination projects

6- Performance of all financial modelling, including DCF / LBO models, trading comps, transaction comps, etc.

7- Ensure quality and timely preparation of all presentation materials, company profiles, info memos, etc, including printing, etc.

8- Responsible of the organization of all logistical aspects of the execution projects, including sending CA and Info memos, organization of data rooms, roadshows, etc.

9- Participate in all department’s activities including training sessions, off-sites, activity updates, etc.

10- Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework

Educational background:

Master (5 years of studies after the bachelor’s degree) in Finance or Economic

Working experience:

Experience in a in Corporate Finance or Corporate Banking is a plus.

Hard skills:

  • Language skills:

    • Fluent in English

    • French It will be a plus

    • Spanish Fluent

  • IT skills: capacity to use several of the following office tools in a proficient manner

    • MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)

    • Business Objects

    • Alteryx and Tableau

Soft skills:

    • Rigor/Analytical mindset

    • Strong sense of organization, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

    • Very high comfort with working with numbers 

    • Team work & communication skills

    • Drive to actively propose improvements, implement & share initiatives
