Business Overview of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking – Industry Groups - Industrials
The aim of Investment Banking products consists of M&A, ECM, Structured DCM, Strategic Equity Derivatives, Event Financing & Strategic Hedging. Segments covered by the team include Automotive, Capital Goods, Chemicals, Support Services, BMAT, Tech and A&D.
The Analyst, within the Industry Groups - Industrials Team and under the supervision a Director, will manage the following activities:
Preparation of the material required for the proper pitching of Investment Banking ideas/products/solutions to Industrials Groups clients. Marketing material may incorporate profiles of Companies, sector analysis, valuation work and transaction modeling. It may also necessitate to conduct market research
Provide Execution input to Business Lines whenever Sector intelligence or input is required for the proper completion of a transaction. Such involvement is decided after approval from his hierarchy
Involvement in Budget and Client Action Plan’s preparation;
Attendance to Client meetings with the Industry Group team.
What we expect from you
Education: Degree in Economics with a specialization in Finance; MBA or other relevant graduate degree.
Behavioral skills: Ethical standards, team work and analytical approach; proactivity and problem solving attitude; autonomy; capability to work under tight deadlines; responsiveness; communication skills; organization skills; ability to work in an international environment.
Technical skills: Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken); excellent knowledge of accounting and financial techniques; financial modelling & valuation analysis; analytical and document presentation skills; from 1 to 3 years experience in Corporate Finance Sector or M&A or IB product as a junior team member, preferably with a bulge bracket Investment Bank.
