Solutions UK (GTS) – Is a product line within Global Banking. GTS primary
mission is to provide and generate sustainable and recurring income from the UK
corporate client portfolio through origination, structuring, marketing and
execution of sizable trade, working capital and similar facilities.
Front Office origination,
marketing and closing of Working Capital facilities including Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Specialised Trade Services (STS) transactions in line with the strategic plans of GTS UK, reporting to the Head
of GTS UK.
Act as a local
correspondent and ambassador for GTS and Global banking.
- Source and promote any working capital solution
ie GTS Supply Chain Management solutions and/or STS solutions with UK
Corporate Pilot and MNC Clients.
- In coordination with product teams (SCM &
STS) identify opportunities and execute transactions, deliver pitches,
attend client calls and ensure follow up.
- Coordinate with the respective product teams for
the structuring and operation of the transactions:
- Compliance with product validation
- Legal compliance and analysis
- Risk mitigation
- Tax analysis
- Accounting implications for client (knowledge of FASB
and IFRS accounting rules),
- Portfolio management
- Preparation of credit proposal
- Liaison with operations departments in booking centres
to ensure that the operation flow is correctly implemented and followed.
- Support other members of the GTS team according
to the above targets;
- Identify and cross sell the bank including TB
flow products (FX, Cash Management and CDL).
- Track record in front office marketing or
- Track record in Trade Finance with experience in
core working capital solutions.
- Sound understanding of product credit risk and
corporate credit risk. Credit analysis skills are an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills to develop positive
relationships with clients and all internal stakeholders (including
Coverage, risk, compliance, Operations and Legal).
- Strong written & oral communication and
- Strong Team player with good commercial aptitude
and positive attitude in an expanding and changing product area.
- Be a role model, supporting and fostering a
culture of good conduct
- Demonstrate proactivity, transparency and
accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks
