With the objectives, through establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with large and medium sized Chinese exporting companies, Sinosure and other banking institutions, to originate structure and execute Export Finance transactions.
Marketing and Sales of Export Finance Products / Origination:
- Maintain and enlarge network with main stakeholders of the Export Finance business:
- Maintain permanent client dialogue via phone, electronic media and visits;
- Prepare client visits and related follow up (together with coverage teams when relevant);
- Represent BNP Paribas Export Finance in general and in bankers meetings;
- Maintain and develop contacts, including visits, with the Chinese Export Credit Agency Sinosure;
- Origination of Export Finance transactions:
- Discuss, prepare and negotiate financing proposals with clients after relevant internal liaising with Export Finance teams around the world;
- Origination of new arranging mandates.
Personal and collective Knowledge Development:
- Develop knowledge of application and deployment of Sinosure’s instruments and regulations, including new products, and share them within the team;
- Maintain state of the art knowledge of BNP Paribas’ Export Finance related products.
- 3-5 years working experience in Export Finance related business, either in a corporation, financing institution, or Export Credit Agency;
- Chinese university + Educational background in Europe/US and/or European/US schools in China;
- Experience and ability to lead a transaction from origination to closing;
- Experience in origination / client facing / marketing, with large network of business relationships;
- Experience and skills in financial techniques, including medium/long term loans structures, risk and credit analysis, legal documentation, etc.
