Vice President/Associate - Electronic Primary and Credit Markets Americas
The ePCM team, led by Andrei Serjantov globally (based in London) is responsible for electronic strategy of the Primary and Credit business and its implementation, including algorithmic and more generally electronic trading, market structure, data strategy and analysis, interaction with fintechs, steering related quant research and tech teams.
Having a good understanding of market structure, trading protocols, technology, regulation, industry trends and client activity, together with a deep knowledge of the business, the successful candidate will be key to driving digital initiatives across Credit trading, sales and primary activities.
Report jointly to local Credit management in New York and Global Head of ePCM in London
Analyze and promote the efficient deployment of digital tools to drive trading results
Help encourage adoption of existing digital tools across Credit trading, sales, primary and research
Work with Credit Business Management and Credit IT Business Analysts to generate electronic trading reports, tools and analyses
Monitor Credit Market structure and analyze the competitive landscape, along with BNP’s position in it, all through a digital lens
Build and maintain relationships with potential market venues, data providers and digital partners
Create and maintain KPIs, broker reports, etc. for existing vendor/partner relationships
Interface as appropriate with institutional clients to promote BNP Credit’s digital tool suite including algorithmic trading, etc.
- 1-5yrs experience in a front office role at a financial institution, trading venue or in market technology
