The Finance Regulatory Reporting IT provides services around Axiom ControllerView, supporting Finance Regulatory Reporting Users community to fulfill their mandates across North America region. The Finance Regulatory Reporting Users are responsible of the production of any Financial Regulatory Reporting required by the Regulators. Their mandate encompasses the following entities of BNPP group:
BNP Paribas USA (Intermediate Holding Company, IHC),
BNP Paribas CIB US Branches,
BNP Paribas CIB Canada Branches,
and Bank of the West
Define high level design principles relating to the reports build in Axiom Controller View tool
Oversight the activities of the Developers and empower the best practices
Perform release planning and quality management activities including but not limited to: troubleshooting and performance tuning of databases, code review and release migration across environment servers, Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and Non Regression Testing, supporting UAT, and building technical design documents
Lead post-implementation reviews, conduct retrospectives and implement lessons learned
Manage to ensure that all IT deliveries are properly documented in adherence with the Bank Policies and Procedures
Ensure liaison with all Stakeholders involved in the Regulatory Reports filing process, especially Finance Users, Finance COO, Data Operations and APS team
Lead any Production issue investigation and resolution
Activities pertaining to the Platform Management and Compliance obligations, including but not limited to- the following activities: Internal and External Audit Review, Axiom License, Users Access, IT Security Certificates, Risk Assessment, Data Confidentiality, Production Request
Develop knowledge sharing session in order to deepen the team knowledge base
Organize any Axiom Presentation and Training
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science
- 10+ year experience in Technology
- Proven experience in AxiomSL ControllerView. Creation of Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Free Form and Tabular Report and workflows using Axiom Controller View tool based on Regulatory reporting Requirements.
- Proven experience in Sql/Pl SQL programming, Unix Shell scripting, version control tools.
- Experience in job scheduler engines (Autosys) creating jil files, Financial Data Warehousing
- Knowledge of US Regulatory Reports (FRY-9C, FRY-15, FRY-11/S, FFIEC002, FFIEC031, FR2900, FR2644, FR2052a, FRY-14Q, FRY-14A…) and Canadian Regulatory Reports (M4, L4, P3, A4, A2, T2…)
- Certification in AxiomSL Controller View product is optional but highly preferred.
- Experience in Axiom version upgrades not mandatory but highly desirable.
- MS degree in Computer Science
