Vice President 2/3, IBA - TMT

  • Lead execution of all corporate finance, structured financing and capital markets (ECM and DCM) for TMT clients.
  • Day to day responsibilities include planning, structuring and executing financing transactions.
  • Take lead in preparation of marketing materials for origination (pitching) efforts and during deal execution (info memo, management presentation etc).
  • Conduct sophisticated financial analysis and relevant industry research, with a core focus on detailed financial modelling.
  • Provide training and support to junior bankers.
  • Support senior bankers for marketing and client interaction, managing client dialogue at the appropriate level.
  • Assist senior bankers in building a good team culture and the strong bond between team members and with other partner teams across the region (coverage, product, syndications).
  • Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedures, and the summary of responsibilities list attached hereto.
  • Generate ideas and pitches for clients and prospects to drive new business across all IB products to continue to develop the TMT Franchise across Asia.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends (5G, automation, outsourcing) as well as understanding new subsectors such as Datacentres, eCommerce, Digital platforms to expand the number of clients can we work across the TMT sector.
  •  Execute seamlessly across all IB mandates to ensure client satisfaction.

  • 7+ years’ experience in structured finance / corporate finance at a leading financial institution.
  • Previous TMT sector experience strongly preferred
  • University degree in economics, finance, commerce, engineering or mathematics.
  • Post-graduate studies in Finance preferred.
  • Strong and proven track record in leveraged and structured financing activities across the APAC region
  • Strong IB experience, ideally coming from a comparable platform
  • Strong financing execution skills (highly coordinated, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple executions / closing in parallel) ideally across both investment and non-investment loans (including LBOs)
  • Good origination and client facing skills

  • Advanced financial modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
