About Business line/Function :

Global Markets Application Production support, comes under CIB ITO in BNP Paribas. APS teams are responsible to provide technical and functional support to various application used in BNP for client and institutional trading & settlement. As a Part of GM APS we provide techno functional support to payment chain application. This application is responsible for payments, confirmations and Reporting.

Position Purpose

 This role offers exciting opportunity to the candidate to get exposed support perimeter of critical settlement and regulatory reporting process along with direct interaction with business professionals located in London and Paris. The candidate will have an opportunity to work with a diverse and a highly competent team of professionals that demand very high standards in their delivery. This application is poised to become a key strategic application in the bank’s vision with high visibility in the realms of IT and business.


Direct Responsibilities


Primary responsibility is it provide techno-functional support to the global clients implemented for BNPP CIB organisation for FX and money market products. Trades, sales, settlement users & multiple downstream applications are listed as our clients in application implementation.

Resolve critical functional/technical issues in limited timeframe as payment applications are very sensitive. Monitor and resolve daily batch issues. Raising incidents and requests based on requirements. Using SQL create reports based on requirements. General application support.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical :

SQL ( mandatory )

Unix OS / Shell Scripting

Python ( good to have )


Good knowledge of FX business.

Clearing, settlement, Payments & regulatory reporting.

Basics of SWIFT messaging.

Trade lifecycle FO-MO-BO
