About Business line/Function :
The Local Development Team of Territory UK is a talented group of developers, which supports the majority of the banks core business functions including Corporate Banking within the UK Territory. The scope of the department does NOT extend to the Capital Markets Arena (i.e. Fixed Income, Equities etc.)
The team develops and maintains internal bespoke software solutions for various departments such CIB Finance, Business Support Services, Business Continuity Management, Client Services. It also offers valuable consultancy on suitable third party products to fulfil business requirements of these departments.

The team currently requires a Tech Lead who is not only experienced in leading a small team of developers but also good at performing tasks as an individual contributor.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years commercial software development experience in Microsoft technologies primarily C#.NET.
· Should be good at programming in C#.NET. A good understanding of OOPs is necessary. Should be proficient in designing .NET Winforms/ Console apps
· Should be good at programming in PL/ SQL. Should have good hands-on knowledge in SQL Server.
· Should be good at interpreting SQL execution plans, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
· Should be comfortable working on SSIS packages. Should understand basic execution and maintenance of packages.
· Should be well versed in designing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.
· Functional domain knowledge of finance systems is an add-on
· Awareness about tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI and Tableau is good to have.
